CONFRATERNITY OF CHRISTIAN DOCTRINE/RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN

For children 5- 14 (K- 8th grade level).

This program is for baptized children preparing for first communion and confirmation.

We want to work together to build a Great Community strengthened by the teachings of our Catholic Church and inspired by the active participation of parents, children and catechists.

OCIC

Order of Christian Initiation of Children

For children 7-17 years of age ( 2nd- 12th Grades) those who have not been catechized.

The OCIC program for children is called the Order of Christian Initiation of Children (OCIC). It is a process designed for children who are not yet baptized or who are preparing to receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and First Holy Communion. Through OCIC, children are gradually introduced to the Catholic faith, learn about Jesus and the teachings of the Church, and are supported in their journey toward full initiation into the Church community. This is a 2 year program.

OCIA

Order of Christian Initiation of Adults

OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a journey of faith for adults (18+) who are interested in becoming Catholic or who have not yet received all of the Sacraments of Initiation. Through OCIA, participants learn about Jesus Christ, Sacred Scripture, Catholic teachings, the Mass, and the traditions of the Church while deepening their personal relationship with God. We encourage anyone who feels called to explore or strengthen their Catholic faith to join us on this meaningful journey toward full participation in the life of the Church through the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Communion.
